Adelaide – a great place to go in 2015
Adelaide – home of Flinders University and Flinders International Study Centre has hit the headlines this week by being selected as one of The New York Times’ 52 Places to Go in 2015. The city, much known for its beaches and famous wine region, reached the 24th position also due to the effervescent cultural scene it harbours. According to the NYT, the city is anchored by festivals like the Adelaide Festival, WOMADelaide, SALA and the biennial Adelaide Film Festival. The hearty dining scene encompasses everything from street (Fork on the Road) to posh (Hill of Grace, atop the redeveloped Adelaide Oval).
Adelaide is also home to Flinders International Study Centre, located at Flinders University’s Bedford Park. FISC offers a vibrant student life with the opportunity to live on campus and enjoy a true university experience. Supportive academic staff, modern facilities, study resources, and full access to all the university amenities are some of the many benefits students enjoy whilst studying at FISC.
